By accessing or using Ident Convert, you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these Terms of Service.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use the service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page with the current "Last updated" date.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Ident Convert. If you are between 13 and 18, you should have permission from a parent or guardian.

Ident Convert is available to users in different countries. You are responsible for making sure that your use of the service is permitted under the laws and regulations that apply to you.

Ident Convert is a web-based file identification and conversion tool.

You can upload a supported file to:

• Identify its file format
• Learn what the format is and what it is commonly used for
• See available conversion options
• Convert the file to another supported format
• Download the converted file

The formats and conversion options available through Ident Convert may change over time.

Ident Convert does not claim ownership of files you upload or convert.

You retain ownership of the files you upload to Ident Convert.

By uploading a file, you give Ident Convert the limited permission necessary to process that file, identify its format, perform the conversion you requested, and provide the resulting file to you.

You are responsible for making sure that you have the legal right to upload, process, convert and use any file you submit to Ident Convert.

You should not upload files that you are not legally permitted to process or that contain content whose use would violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

You agree to use Ident Convert only for lawful purposes.

You must not:

• Upload or convert files that you do not have the right to use or process
• Use Ident Convert to violate copyright, intellectual property, privacy, or other rights
• Upload malicious files intended to damage or interfere with the service or another person's device
• Attempt to overload, disrupt, or abuse the service
• Use automated bots, scripts, or other tools to generate unreasonable amounts of traffic
• Attempt to bypass technical restrictions, rate limits, or other safeguards
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, exploit, or interfere with the operation of Ident Convert
• Use the service for any illegal purpose

If we detect abuse, malicious activity, or a violation of these Terms, we may restrict or block access to the service without notice.

Files uploaded to Ident Convert may be transferred to our processing infrastructure when necessary to provide the requested identification or conversion. We process files only as necessary to provide the service you requested.

Converted files are returned to you in the same request and are not kept on our servers after the conversion is complete. Ident Convert does not intend to provide permanent file storage or file backup.

You are responsible for keeping your own copies of important files. We cannot guarantee that an uploaded or converted file will always remain available.

To protect the service from abuse, a bot-protection check (Cloudflare Turnstile) runs when you convert a file.

The files you upload remain yours. Ident Convert does not claim ownership of your files or the content contained within them.

The Ident Convert name, logo, website design, original text, graphics, and code are owned by us or used with permission. You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or use them for your own projects without appropriate permission.

Third-party file formats, names, trademarks, and related technologies remain the property of their respective owners. Ident Convert is not affiliated with the companies or organizations that created those formats unless explicitly stated.

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of Ident Convert does not infringe copyright or other third-party rights.

Ident Convert does not determine whether a particular file may legally be copied, converted, modified, or distributed.

If you upload or convert copyrighted material, you must have the necessary rights or permission to do so.

If you believe that Ident Convert is being used in a way that infringes your rights, please contact us with sufficient information for us to review the matter.

Ident Convert is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

We try to keep the service working reliably, but we cannot guarantee that it will always be available, error-free, secure, or uninterrupted.

File conversions may fail for reasons including unsupported formats, corrupted files, unusually large files, technical problems, or changes to the underlying processing software.

We may add, remove, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or parts of Ident Convert at any time, with or without notice.

Ident Convert relies on third-party infrastructure and software to operate the service, including hosting, bot protection, and file-processing technologies.

These services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability, performance, or policies of third-party services.

Ident Convert is provided without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

We do not guarantee that:

• Every file can be identified correctly
• Every conversion will succeed
• Converted files will have exactly the same quality or structure as the original
• The service will always be available
• The service will meet your particular requirements
• Files will never be lost, corrupted, or unavailable

You are responsible for keeping backups of important files before uploading them to Ident Convert.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Ident Convert and its operators will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or other damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the service.

This includes, without limitation, loss of files, data, profits, business opportunities, or other losses resulting from a failed conversion, service interruption, or unavailable file.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation is not permitted by applicable law.

Because Ident Convert does not currently require user accounts, there is no account subscription to terminate.

However, we reserve the right to restrict or block access to Ident Convert if we believe a user is abusing the service, attempting to harm the service, violating these Terms, or using the service for unlawful purposes.

Ident Convert may change, update, or discontinue any part of the service at any time.

We may also update these Terms when necessary. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

Your continued use of Ident Convert after changes are published means that you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operation of Ident Convert, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Any dispute should first be addressed through good-faith communication. If the matter cannot be resolved informally, it may be handled through the courts or other dispute-resolution process required by applicable law.

If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
