Good to know
- AC3 files carry no title, artist or album tags, so there is nothing to copy over.
- WAV files are big, about 10 MB per minute for CD-quality stereo.
- A 24-bit hi-res file is reduced to 16-bit in the WAV. Choose FLAC to keep 24-bit.
- The source is already compressed with quality loss. The new file keeps it exactly as it is, it does not bring back what was lost, and it gets much bigger.
