Good to know
- Opus always runs at 48 kHz, so other sample rates are converted.
- Older players and some Apple apps cannot open .opus. Use MP3 or M4A there.
- Embedded cover art is not carried over. Only the sound is converted.
- Both formats compress with quality loss, so every conversion costs a little quality. Keep your MP3 original.
