Good to know
- Only the first sheet is converted. If your workbook has several sheets, move the one you need to the front in Excel first, or convert to JSON, which keeps every sheet.
- The output is always a flat list of key-value rows. Nested structures cannot be expressed in a spreadsheet, so none are created.
- Dates are written as quoted strings, such as '2026-01-15', so a YAML parser does not turn them into date objects unexpectedly.
- Formulas become their last calculated value; formatting, charts and images are dropped.
