  • The finished design is exported as Photoshop composites it, with all visible layers merged into one picture
  • One PDF page that is exactly the size of the picture (not A4), with the image filling it
  • The image is embedded without extra compression, so nothing is lost

Good to know

  • Layers, masks, text and smart objects are flattened and cannot be edited afterwards.
  • A PSD saved without Maximize Compatibility in Photoshop may export blank or incomplete. Re-save it with that option turned on and convert again.
  • The PDF contains only the picture. Text in the image is not recognized, so it cannot be selected or searched (there is no OCR).
  • One image becomes one page. To combine several images in one PDF, use the PDF tools of your viewer after converting.
