Good to know

Layers, masks, text and smart objects are flattened and cannot be edited afterwards.
A PSD saved without Maximize Compatibility in Photoshop may export blank or incomplete. Re-save it with that option turned on and convert again.
JPG is lossy and has no transparency.
Transparent areas become white, because the new format has no transparency.
