Good to know
- The photo is developed automatically with the camera's white balance. There are no exposure, color or noise edits, so for fine control develop it in Lightroom or Camera Raw instead.
- Support depends on the camera model: very new cameras can fail until they are supported. Files that were only renamed from another format are rejected.
- JPG is lossy and has no transparency.
- Metadata such as EXIF and the GPS location is not copied into the new file.

RAF vs JPG
RAF
A RAF file is a RAW photo from a Fujifilm camera. It holds the unprocessed sensor data, so it keeps maximum detail for editing, but most apps and websites can't open it. Converting it gives you a normal image, developed with the camera's own white balance.
