Good to know

Wide-gamut and HDR colors are reduced to standard 8-bit sRGB, so very vivid or bright tones can look slightly flatter.
JPG is lossy and has no transparency.
Transparent areas become white, because the new format has no transparency.
The new format is lossy, so tiny pixel-level differences from the original are expected. Keep the original if you need exact pixels.
